전재수 부산시장의 국회의원 시절 불거진 통일교 금품수수 의혹과 관련해 압수수색을 앞두고 증거를 인멸한 혐의를 받는 전직 선임비서관이 실형을 선고받고 법정 구속됐다.

부산지법 서부지원 형사3단독 김수홍 부장판사는 30일 증거인멸 혐의로 기소된 전 시장의 국회의원 시절 선임비서관 A씨에게 징역 1년을 선고하고 법정구속했다.

함께 기소된 4급 보좌관 B씨에게는 징역 8개월에 집행유예 2년을 선고했다.또한 8급 비서관 C씨와 인턴 비서관 D씨에게는 각각 벌금 300만 을 선고했다.

이들은 지난해 12월 10일 당시 전 의원의 부산 지역구 사무실 내 업무용 PC를 초기화해 이에 저장된 전자정보를 모두 삭제한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.
